Other functional ingredients and products can be supplied by Lindenburg including:

  • Ready to use vegetable and animal protein products for injection
    • The ready to use protein products can be used to improve binding of the product together with improved juiciness and texture. Multiple sources of proteins are available ranging from soja, pea to pork, beef and chicken
  • Stabilisers
    • Products based on various sources of stabilisers are available like guar gum, xanthan gum, carrageenan, PES etc. These products are tailor made to achieve the required amount of gelling, freeze and thaw behaviour and texture while improving product yield.
  • Antioxidant and other preservatives
    • Lindenburg also has several preservative products, based on:
      • Vinegar, called Lind Preservative Vinegar
        • Can be added to the brine to improve the shelf life of the end product. It gives several advantages compared to the typically used lactic acid based products in being concentrated, dry product which is easier in use and handling making it relatively cheaper to use.
      • Ascorbic acid, called Lind Ascorbic acid blend
        • The Lind ascorbic acid blend is based on ascorbic acid and its isomer erythorbic acid. Strength and composition can be adjusted to customer requirements creating an easy ready to use product.
